Resource Mobilization and Financial Resilience Training
From 19-22 July 2026, I had the privilege of representing Peace for Life Ghana at the Resource Mobilization and Financial Resilience Workshop held in Tamale.
The workshop, organized by WACSI, CSR-HUB, and the Ford Foundation, and expertly facilitated by Placements Ghana, provided an enriching platform for learning, reflection, and collaboration among civil society organizations.
The sessions challenged us to rethink how we mobilize resources beyond traditional donor funding by strengthening organizational sustainability, diversifying funding streams, enhancing financial resilience, and building strategic partnerships. Beyond the technical knowledge shared, the workshop fostered meaningful peer learning and networking with practitioners committed to creating lasting impact in their communities.
As a leader of a local organization, I leave this workshop with renewed inspiration and practical strategies that will strengthen the sustainability and long-term impact of Peace for Life Ghana. The knowledge gained will undoubtedly contribute to improving our resource mobilization approaches and institutional resilience as we continue serving vulnerable communities in Northern Ghana.
My sincere appreciation goes to the organizers and facilitators for investing in the capacity of local civil society organizations. Initiatives like these are essential for building stronger, more resilient, and locally led development institutions.
Thank you WACSI, CSR-HUB, Ford Foundation, and Placements Ghana for an excellent learning experience.
